COVID-19 Update ( March 13, 2021)
- Currently, we are providing assessments and coaching remotely. We plan to be in a new office space ASAP (no later than the Fall!)
Our process begins with an email or phone call.
OUR PROCESS – Our first conversation is free of charge and provides you an opportunity to share your concerns, while providing us a chance to ask questions and gain knowledge about your reasons for exploring coaching or therapy for yourself, your child, or a student at your school. After that, we will schedule a time to meet.
During your first 60-90 minute visit (virtually), we will utilize interviews, clinical observations, and dynamic assessments to guide us as we plan treatment. Depending on your treatment focus, we may decide to meet in a small group, choose to work individually, or focus our efforts on consultation to your family and/or school team members.
OUR SERVICE DELIVERY – The frequency and duration of services is based on client motivation and need. Opportunities include:
- 1:1 Coaching
- Small Group Coaching(2 – 6 clients)
- Parent Coaching (1:1 and/or small group)
- Consultation and conversation with any other team members
*Please know that coaching, especially for our executive function skill clients, does not stop when a session is over. We remain a part of your day-to-day life with check-ins via text or email throughout the days in between appointments. We find that this is important to ensure success, especially in the early stages of coaching. When we make a plan in the clinic, we want to be sure we’re available when/if the plan needs to change later in the week!
OUR INSURANCE/PAYMENT POLICY – We are not enrolled as “in-network” with any insurances. This means that you will be responsible for the “out-of-pocket” payment for each session.
After payment is received for each session, we will provide you with a “Superbill” to submit to your insurance company. This DOES NOT MEAN that we accept your insurance. It only means that we are committed to helping you get any and all reimbursement that you are eligible for from your insurance company.
