We're worried and we think you are too.
So many of our rising and returning college students are struggling with the expectations of higher education. They aren't used to a life where the possibility of failure exists. For some, that might mean getting their first C, and for others that might mean academic probation. Either way, the potential to trigger feelings of self-doubt, anxiety and/or depression is real.
WE HEAR STUDENTS SAY THINGS LIKE THIS DAILY!
-Forget it. If I can't get an 'A' I'm not going to bother trying.
-I totally bombed that exam. I should just die.
-None of my friends study and they're doing fine, so why can't I keep up?
-I don't have any friends. Literally, no one likes me.
-I'm NOT going to talk to my professor. What would I even say?
At College Bound Thinkers, we teach students the difference between an outline and real notes. We provide them opportunities to practice.
